What is the ORI number?
The ORI number stands for “Originating Agency Identification” and it’s typically a 9 digit identifier that is associated with the specific agency. You need to know your ORI number to schedule any Level II background check for the FDLE.
You’ll need one of these in order to get your Level 2 background check taken care of. You should have received your ORI number from an email or letter from the organization that is requiring you to have the background check performed.
